Studio 1 signs is a wholesale sandblasted sign shop located in Milwaukee WI. For over twenty years we've been creating beautiful dimensional signage for retail sign shops all accross the U.S.A. For this project, the customer wanted to advertise she was a seamstress/dress maker but didn't want the old boring tailor sign everyone else had. With a little thought and creativity her new identity came to light. After the install, she said, "it's like seeing your baby for the first time." Customers like her is what keeps the drive alive in all of us. The sign is created using 1-1/2, 1", and 1/2" SIGNFOAM, and 1/8" pvc, with a Sandblasted background. The KASHKAS lettering is all hand cut primed and painted. Borders are gold guilded. The needles are hand carved and gilded silver. The spool of thread is all handcarved, primed and painted with ONESHOT enamels. The customer didn't want the same old awning lettering, so a single faced sign was fabricated and put in place. The buttons are also handcarved and hammer finish painted for the awning sign and the kashka border is gilded. STUDIO 1 SIGNS 1009 WEST LINCOLN AVE.
