Weeding with a lightbox
A bottom light behind vinyl reveals all the cuts, clearly and in detail. When weeding complex vinyl signs or vinyl decals/stickers, use a light source or a light table. When weeding tiny items such as helmet decals or motorcycle decals, a light box is your most valuable tool. You can construct a light box by simply cutting a square hole in an old table, routing out a channel and inserting a sheet of glass or plexiglass. Mount a box underneath with a flourescent light and add a few holes for ventilation and you will be surprised at how easy weeding will be.
